To Whom it May Concern,This is a letter of reference for Julie Susarrey. I have had the privilege of knowing Julie for over twelve years, and would enthusiastically recommend her in any position that involves nurturing and educating young rninds. I first met Julie in 2012 when my twin daughters were three years old. They were starting preschool at Wee Wisdom Preschool and Julie was their teacher. They were new to the °school- environment and were extreme, shy and introverted children. From the moment we met Julie, she made them feel welcome and comthrtable. She knew just what to do and say to help ease their fears. I felt relieved knowing my daughters were in good hands and they loved going to school because of Julie. Every interaction with her was met with patience, kindness and a soothing professionalism.
When Julie moved on to open her own at-horne Montessori school, I attempted to keep my daughters at the preschool, but everyday became a struggle and they were no longer happy in their environment – they would cry every day that I dropped them off. I decided to pull them out the preschool and enroll them with Julie. It was the best decision I ever made. Her classroom was a warm and nurturing environment where all the children were encouraged to grow socially, emotionally and academically. Julie provided a safe, comfortable and loving learning experience that allowed my daughters to grow and learn in a way they had never received in the ‘typical.’ preschool environment. Julie supported my daughters not only in their development but she instilled confidence and enthusiasm in their abilities.
With Julie’s gentle encouragement, my daughters came out of their shells and continued to thrive. Over the years, I witnessed firsthand Julie’s exceptional dedication, creativity and passion for childhood education. They stayed with Julie until they started public school, and because of her amazing influence, they were well prepared. My daughters formed bonds with their classmates in Julies class that have lasted over a decade. I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about Julie. She possesses an innate ability to connect with children, making them feel safe, valued and excited to learn. She fosters a love for learning by incorporating engaging, hands-on activities that spark curiosity and creativity, and encourages her students to respect and honor themselves, others and the world around them.
